CHRISTOPHER J. REINHARD
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Reinhard was a co-founder of Cardium Therapeutics, Inc., a publicly-traded medical technology company, which acquired InnerCool Therapies in March 2006. Mr. Reinhard has served as Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, President and Treasurer of Cardium since its formation in December 2003, and as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of InnerCool Therapies since it was acquired by Cardium. Before founding Cardium, he was a co-founder of Collateral Therapeutics, Inc., a former Nasdaq listed public company, and served as a director (from 1995) and President (from 1999) of Collateral Therapeutics until the completion of its acquisition by the Schering AG Group in 2002. He continued as Chief Executive of Collateral Therapeutics through December 2004. Mr. Reinhard played a major role in effecting Collateral Therapeutics’ initial public offering led by Bear Stearns & Co. in 1998, and the sale of Collateral Therapeutics to Schering AG. Mr. Reinhard has also been Executive Chairman (since 2004) of Artes Medical, Inc., a privately-held specialty pharmaceutical and medical device company. Previously, Mr. Reinhard was Vice President and Managing Director of the Henley Group, a publicly-traded diversified industrial and manufacturing group, and Vice President of various public and private companies created by the Henley Group through spin-out transactions, including Fisher Scientific Group, Instrumentation Laboratory and IMED Corporation. Mr. Reinhard received a B.S. in Finance and an M.B.A. from Babson College.


MICHAEL L. MAGERS, M.S., M.B.A.
President and Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Magers has 20+ years of experience in the development of successful medical devices. He has served as InnerCool’s President and Chief Operating Officer since 1998. Mr. Magers was Vice President of Research and Development at Mallinckrodt Critical Care from 1994 to 1998 and held senior management positions at Ohmeda Critical Care and Baxter Edwards Critical Care. Mr. Magers has developed cooled thermal dilution catheters for continuous cardiac output monitoring, blood warmers, and other devices that have related technical challenges. Mr. Magers earned his B.S.E.E. in Engineering from the University of California, M.S. in Engineering and M.B.A. from the University of California, Irvine.


TYLER M. DYLAN, Ph.D., J.D.
Executive Vice President, Chief Business Officer, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary

Dr. Dylan was a co-founder of Cardium Therapeutics, Inc., a publicly-traded medical technology company, which acquired InnerCool Therapies in March 2006. Dr. Dylan has served as a Director, General Counsel, Executive Vice President and Secretary of Cardium since its formation in December 2003, and as Chief Business Officer since May 2005. He has served as Executive Vice President, Chief Business Officer, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of InnerCool Therapies since it was acquired by Cardium. Dr. Dylan served as General Counsel (from 1998) and Vice President (from 1999) of Collateral Therapeutics until the completion of its acquisition by the Schering AG Group in 2002. He continued as an executive officer of Collateral Therapeutics until October 2003. Dr. Dylan played a major role in developing Collateral Therapeutics’ intellectual property portfolio, in furthering its business development efforts and in advancing the company toward and through its acquisition by Schering AG. In addition to his work with Collateral Therapeutics, Dr. Dylan has advised both privately-held and publicly-traded companies that are developing, partnering or commercializing technology-based products. Before joining Collateral Therapeutics, Dr. Dylan was a partner with the law firm of Morrison & Foerster LLP. In his law firm practice, Dr. Dylan focused on the development, acquisition and enforcement of intellectual property rights, as well as related business and transactional issues. He also has worked with both researchers and business management in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. Dr. Dylan received a B.Sc. in Molecular Biology from McGill University, Montreal, Canada; a Ph.D. in Biology from the University of California, San Diego, where he performed research at the Center for Molecular Genetics, and a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley.


DENNIS M. MULROY
Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Mulroy has served as Chief Financial Officer of Cardium Therapeutics since November 2005 and as a Director and Chief Financial Officer of InnerCool Therapies since it was acquired by Cardium in March 2006. Mr. Mulroy has over 20 years of corporate financial experience spanning several industries, having served most recently as Chief Financial Officer at Molecular Imaging Corporation, a publicly-traded diagnostic services company. Previously he held senior financial positions at public and privately-held companies, including SeraCare Life Sciences, Bioceutix Inc., Bidland Systems, First World Communications, River Medical Inc., IVAC Corp., Spectragrahics Corp. and IMED Corp. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State Of California and began his career with Ernst & Young. Mr. Mulroy earned his degree in business administration from the University of San Diego.


RANDALL W. MOREADITH, M.D., PH.D.
Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Moreadith has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of Cardium Therapeutics since January 2006 and as Chief Medical Officer of InnerCool Therapies since it was acquired by Cardium in March 2006. Before joining Cardium, Dr. Moreadith served as Chief Medical Officer of Renovis, Inc., a publicly-traded biopharmaceutical company. Previously, he was co-founder, President and Chief Operating Officer of ThromboGenics Ltd., a company focused on biotherapeutics for the treatment of vascular diseases, and served as Principal Medical Officer of Quintiles, Inc., the world’s leading pharmaceutical services organization, where he co-founded Quintiles’ Cardiovascular Therapeutics Group. He received his M.D. from Duke University and his Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins University, and was a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Postdoctoral Fellow in Genetics at Harvard Medical School. His faculty appointments include the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where he was an Established Investigator of the American Heart Association.


BRADLEY R. KLOS
Vice President - Sales and Marketing

Mr. Klos joined InnerCool Therapies in 2000 and has held both domestic and international sales and marketing positions in the medical device industry. He has global experience with various technologies ranging from neuro micro catheters and embolic materials to disposable drug delivery devices. Previously, Mr. Klos held various sales and marketing positions at Micro Therapeutics (MTI), IVAC Medical Systems/River Medical, Inc. and Universal Medical Instrument Corporation. Mr. Klos earned his B.A. in International Relations and M.B.A. from the University of San Diego.


JENNIFER A. SPINELLA
Vice President - Regulatory Affairs & Quality Assurance

Ms. Spinella has served as Vice President – Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance of Cardium Therapeutics since November 2005 and as Vice President – Regulatory Affairs and Quality Affairs for InnerCool Therapies since it was acquired by Cardium in March 2006. Before joining Cardium, Ms. Spinella was Director of Regulatory Affairs at Biogen Idec Inc. and was responsible for the regulatory strategy and recent supplemental Biologics License Application (sBLA) for Rituxan(R) in Rheumatoid Arthritis. Before joining Biogen Idec in 2003, she was Director of Regulatory Affairs at Idun Pharmaceuticals Inc. and held various regulatory positions at Elan Pharmaceuticals Inc., Chugai Biopharmaceuticals Inc., Dura Pharmaceuticals Inc. and Gensia Pharmaceuticals Inc. Ms. Spinella earned her B.S. in Medical Technology from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine, Omaha, Nebraska.


TED WILLIAMS
Vice President - Manufacturing and Technical Operations

Mr. Williams has served as Vice President – Manufacturing and Technical Operations of Cardium Therapeutics since November 2005 and as Vice President – Manufacturing and Technical Operations of InnerCool Therapies since it was acquired by Cardium in March 2006. Mr. Williams brings over 25 years of professional experience in FDA-regulated environments of biopharmaceutical process development, cGMP manufacturing, quality assurance and control, microbiology, raw materials testing and analytical methods development. Prior to joining Cardium Therapeutics, Mr. Williams was Senior Director of Quality Control at Favrille, Inc. From 2001 to 2004, he was Director of Research Operations, Process Technologies and Quality Systems at Collateral Therapeutics where he was involved in research and development efforts related to Generx and other product candidates. Mr. Williams was also the Senior Manager of Quality Systems at Advanced Tissue Sciences, Manager of Quality Control at Chiron Technologies, Center for Gene Therapy, Supervisor of Quality Control at Viagene Inc., and Chief Microbiologist and Supervisor of the Clinical Microbiology Department at Yuma Regional Medical Center. Mr. Williams earned his B.S. in microbiology from Weber State University, Ogden, Utah.


ANTHONY M. MULLIN, B.M.E., E.M.T.
Senior Director of Clinical Affairs and Education

Mr. Mullin has 20+ years of experience in the design, development, clinical testing and regulation of medical devices. Prior to joining InnerCool, Mr. Mullin was the founding President and Chief Executive Officer of MDG, Inc. a clinical consulting firm in St. Louis, Missouri. Before that, he enjoyed a 15 year career with Mallinckrodt, Inc. having designed several medical devices still being sold under the Tyco Healthcare/Mallinckrodt brand name. He has also served as Assistant Director of Clinical and Regulatory Affairs for the Nellcor/Puritan Bennett Division of Tyco Healthcare.


STEVEN A. YON, Ph.D.
Director of Research

Dr. Yon has been responsible for the research and development of InnerCool’s proprietary heat transfer technology, fluid mechanics and novel temperature control algorithms Since joining the company in late 1998. Dr. Yon received his A.B. from the University of California, Berkeley and his Sc.M. from Brown University, Providence, Rhode Island. He earned his M.S. in Aerospace Engineering at San Diego State University with an emphasis in fluid mechanics and aerodynamics. In 1995, he completed his Ph.D. in Applied Mechanics at the University of California, San Diego. After earning his Ph.D., he worked as a post-doctoral research assistant in the area of fluid motion in a microgravity environment.


JOHN DOBAK, M.D.
Founder and Consultant

Dr. Dobak was the founder of InnerCool Therapies and from 1998 to 2005 serve as the company’s Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Dobak is currently the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Leptos Biomedical, Inc., a medical technology company developing a novel treatment for obesity. He is also the President of JAKK Group, a biomedical technology company engaged in the development of medical technologies in the areas of heart failure, cellulite therapy and sleep apnea. Prior to joining InnerCool, Dr. Dobak was the founder, Vice President, Research & Development and Chief Technology Officer of CryoGen, Inc. Dr. Dobak earned his B.S. in Biology at the University of California, Los Angeles and received his M.D. from University of California, San Diego. He completed post-graduate training at the Scripps Research Institute, La Jolla and UCLA-Harbor Medical Center, Los Angeles.
