Clinical Overview

INNERCOOL has completed clinical trials and studies utilizing the Celsius Control System™ in the following clinical areas: cerebrovascular surgery (TCAS), acute ischemic stroke (ICTuS), fever control and acuteMI (ICE-IT). The Celsius Control System is currently being used in an NIH funded acute stroke study (ICTuS-L) which is evaluating the safety and feasibility of mild hypothermia in patients presenting 0-6 hours after the onset of an acute stroke and treated with tPA.
